About the Role
The Interpreting Coordinator will manage and coordinate freelance interpreters and client’s interpreting requests, ensuring that all online and in-person interpreting appointments are scheduled in a cost-effective manner and clients are informed of arrangements. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Coordinate freelance interpreters and clients’ interpreting requests
Manage the full life cycle of Interpreting requests
Ensure all assignments are completed as requested
Ensure interpreters are adhering to all codes of ethics
Provide feedback on interpreter’s performance
Work closely with marketing department, assist in demo presentation of the Interpreting Platform
Assist in recruiting and interviewing processes
Coordinate new interpreter communications
Education, Experience & Skills:
Ability to work in a fast-past environment
Good drive and energy to stay on top of all resource-related issues proactively and responsively.
Excellent verbal and written skills
Knowledge of language industry
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple assignments and interpreters at the same time
Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills
Ability to manage multiple initiatives and projects and prioritize needs
Strong sense of service and passion for the company and business
Experience in recruiting in a high volume, fast paced role, preferably a start-up
Experience with social media recruiting techniques
Experience with traditional and non-traditional job board recruiting techniques
8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
