What is something people in your industry have to deal with that you want to fix?

Once companies expand and grow, there is a loss in communication throughout all their personnel. I prefer to avoid it before it starts. That way you have a better working environment for all.

What do you do at The Language Doctors?

I am responsible for activities such as recruiting/interviews, interpreter training, as well as providing tech support for TLD Interpret Manager.

What are your credentials/experience, for working in your position?

Knowledge of the interpreting field, not only with casual speaking but with legal, business, and medical knowledge. Also having the ability to organize and solve scenarios.

What do you like about working at The Language Doctors?

The best thing about working at The Language Doctors is the trust that they give me as one of their own. They give me the different tasks and every one of those is appreciated by the company. That is not something you can find that easy.

What’s your background?

Well at the age of 3, my family and I went to the US, studied 15 years, came back to Mexico, studied nursing, worked at a hospital. While studying, got a part time as interpreter. Deciding to go with other companies. Studied and reached the level of medical interpreter. After a year started helping with training for a company. Maintain quality of the calls.

What are the values that drive you?

Making a difference, being positive, rely on others/team cooperation. This is essential when there are many people that you work with

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?

Spending time in family, going to work out (the jobs a bit sedentary, so physical work is necessary), spending time with friends or going to the movies when possible. I am a huge movie fanatic.
